TECHTORIA v 1.0 - Webmaker online event has been conducted by Coherent Club at UIT-RGPV, Bhopal. It was a 10 day event, from 16-25 Oct 2015. Great participation is seen by students of Madhya Pradesh, India.
Through this online event, our major goal is to provide web literacy in my region and also by this, people who are not interested in coding and still wants to show their creativity through their MAKES without coding.
Techtoria started on 16 Oct 2015, with an introduction tutorial of Webmaker Android Application on hangout. This tutorial is taken by Vaibhav Bajaj (Mozilla REP) from Bhopal region. In this session, how to make new app and how to modify/remix the old MAKE without coding technique is taught. And also, the difference between making an app through coding and without coding is discussed.
A separate video tutorial is made by our Club Lead, Kushagra Varade, for the people who fails to attend the online session, so that they can also learn and participate in the event within the given time period. In this video, use of Webmaker mobile app is shown by taking several live demos on how to create, publish or share your make with social world.
The competition started, and participants have to make a very creative and useful app, using Webmaker Mobile Application and the best app maker will be awarded by Mozilla Swag.
Our first online event was successfully ended on 25th of Oct 2015. I'm great full to my whole team of COHERENT and also special thanks to Vaibhav Bajaj for supporting Techtoria v1.0 and Us.
